Newport Beach, Calif. – Oct. 24, 2011- JustEnough Software Corporation, a
leading provider of demand management solutions for retailers, distributors and brand
owners worldwide, today announced that Icebreaker selected its Sales Forecasting and
Demand Planning solutions to support its rapid growth.
Icebreaker is a New Zealand company that pioneered the outdoor merino wool apparel
category. It was also the first outdoor apparel company in the world to source merino
directly from growers. The Icebreaker apparel system includes underwear, mid-layer
garments, outerwear, socks and accessories. There are outdoor, technical and lifestyle
categories, each with its own specific fabrics and design details. Icebreaker is sold in
more than 3,000 stores in 37 countries and has offices throughout the world.
“We needed a system that could keep up with the pace in which our business is growing,”
said Shane Woonton, global sales operations manager. “It was also imperative that
all of our planners – no matter where they are located – could have access to the same
system and the same data. Leveraging JustEnough’s Sales Forecasting and Demand
Planning solutions via its OnCloud platform helps us meet both of those objectives. We
were impressed with the anytime/anywhere functionality the solutions offered our users.”
JustEnough’s Sales Forecasting and Demand Planning solutions will help Icebreaker
quickly and accurately produce forecasts for new and existing products. The company
will also use the solutions to better anticipate shifts in customer demand and analyze
trends at the sales representative, customer and product levels.
“Our demand management solutions are designed to help companies like Icebreaker
improve the way they forecast sales and customer demand, set performance goals,
increase operational efficiencies and manage inventory levels,” said Malcolm Buxton,
president and chief executive officer of JustEnough. “We look forward to helping
Icebreaker deploy our OnCloud solutions, which will enable the company to quickly
streamline its global supply chain and achieve its business goals.”
